Software keluaran Waves ini cocok buat para gitaris yang ingin mendapatkan sound gitar yang bagus tanpa harus mengeluarkan uang banyak untuk membeli perangkat multi effect yang banyak.Bisa digunakan sebagai Plugins pada software musik semacam Nuendo,Cubase dan yang lain.
   Kelebihan dari GTR 3,software ini juga dapat digunakan secara 'stand alone',yaitu tinggal colokin gitar di PC trus tinggal mainkan dan cari sound yang kita inginkan.tanpa harus masuk ke Nuendo,Cubase ato semacamnya.Tapi jangan lupa sekalian install driver ASIO.Fitur yang tersedia antara lain :
