M-DISC Pengganti DVD yang Mampu Menyimpan Data Seumur Hidup

Bagi anda yang memiliki file-file penting dan ingin menyimpannya dalam waktu yang sangat lama, mungkin akan senang dengan adanya M-DISC. Alat ini menjamin keamanan data anda seumur hidup, tidak akan ada yang namanya data corrupt atau eror lainnya.

Untuk saat ini, M-DISC hanya menyediakan fasilitas write saja, belum ada M-DISC yang menyediakan fitur re-writeable. Meskipun begitu, Mileniata perusahaan yang memproduksi M-DISC yakin alat ini akan laku di pasaran, karena mereka menjamin bahwa data yang disimpan akan dapat terus dibaca seumur hidup.

Bekerja sama dengan Hitachi-LG Data Storage Inc, Milleniata akan bekerja sama untuk membikin M-READY DVD drives yang berfungsi untuk menuliskan data ke dalam M-DISC. Alat ini dapat menyimpan data hingga 4,7 GB. M-DISC rencananya akan dijual seharga USD 2.99 atau sekitar 25 ribu rupiah per keping.
